A Reiki treatment
The method of receiving Reiki treatment from a Practitioner a very simple process.
The recipient simply lies on a couch and relaxes, if they are unable to do this the treatment can be given in a sitting position.
The main thing is for the recipient to be as comfortable as possible. There is no need to remove clothing as Reiki will pass through anything.
The Practitioner gently places their hands in a sequence of positions which cover the whole body (none intrusively).
A full treatment takes approximately one hour, with each hand position held for several minutes.
Reiki may be felt as a flow of energy, mild tingling, warmth, coolness or other sensation. Reiki is deeply relaxing, eases stress and has a calming effect across the whole body.
Treatment is enhanced if one can rest for a while afterwards and drink plenty of water to aid the body to detoxify. Be responsive to the needs of your body, E.g. Resting if tired and allow the energy to continue its work after the session ends.
The beneficial effects may be felt for several days but regular treatments will enhance your body and mind.
